Definition of Terms
Sign-Up Bonus includes the cash bonus, currently $6, that MoreRebates added to your account summary when you signed up to become a member of MoreRebates. Please note that any individual may only maintain one account, and hence only be eligible for one sign-up bonus.
Referral Credit includes a bonus, currently $6, that MoreRebates will pay when (a) you refer an individual to MoreRebates, other than yourself, and (b) this individual becomes a MoreRebates member through the tracking link provided, and (c) the individual has earned approved rebates of $25 or more. All three requirements must be satisfied for a referral credit to become an approved rebate and paid.
Pending Rebates include rebates earned on purchases made recently through MoreRebates. Typically it takes between 7 and 30 days from the date of your purchase for a pending rebate to show in your account summary. The variation depends on the time a store takes to provide MoreRebates with the information to post to your account summary. There are some exceptions including Expedia which will post to your account summary only after your trip has been completed.
Approved Rebates include rebates on purchases that (a) MoreRebates has received a commission for, and (b) no returns or exchanges have been made. Depending on the store, pending rebates typically become approved rebates in 90 days or less. Some exceptions include our sign-up bonus which is immediately credited to your account summary as an approved rebate. For referral credits, your pending rebate will become an approved rebate once your referral has earned approved rebates of $25 or more.
